Zuwena was born and raised in Zanzibar. She is a UBCO alumni holding a degree in Human Kinetics. A passionate health promoter and founder of Mgeni Foundation, she works to reduce stigma on children living with HIV/AIDS and advocates for all children to have equal opportunity. An artist, who is able to weave science, health and art.
